This master-thesis is aimed to show the usability, benefits and issues of a socio-cratic leadership in the means of project management. First of all an overview will be given about the sociocratic leadership, its heritage, basic functions and philosophy for leadership. Also an overview about the pros and cons of the sociocratic system will be given. Next is a brief overview on the topic of project management and the basic thoughts of sociocracy which already can be found philosophy of project manage-ment. Finally a picture of the living sociocracy, rendered by interviews from experts and employees who have active contact with sociocracy in Austria. From this input da-ta information is gathered of what a sociocratic leaderships needs to bring into pro-ject management and where it could be problematic.
